Mr. Aderhold, a University of Minnesota Civil Engineering graduate and University of St. Thomas MBA, has been Vice President and Business Development Leader for Black Bear Resources since 2013. He previously served as Director of Business Development at Aegion Corporation, managing over $200 million in sales. With expertise in contract negotiations, CRM, and corporate strategy, he now focuses on expanding sales and growth strategies at Compass SWD.
Mr. Koller, a western North Dakota native and University of North Dakota graduate with a B.A. in Aviation Administration and Management, was previously a Certified Financial Planner™ and Wealth Management Advisor at Northwestern Mutual for nearly 15 years. He now applies his financial expertise to the Bakken and Three Forks shale plays, helping Black Bear Resources grow its oil and gas lease portfolio. As General Manager at Compass SWD, Mr. Koller oversees sales and strategic growth.
Mr. Koch brings over 16 years of experience in financial services and has led multiple start-ups in real estate, oil and gas, and structured finance. He successfully navigated an oil and gas start-up to profitability during a volatile period and has been involved in the Bakken for over four years. A graduate of Emory University with a degree in finance, Brian’s expertise in financial analysis and regional experience strengthens the Compass SWD management team.
Mr. Dahl, a Bismarck, North Dakota native, holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of North Dakota. Before joining Black Bear Resources in May 2016, he interned at Oasis Petroleum and Black Bear, gaining experience in frac fluid rheology, economic analysis, and daily operations. With expertise in oil and gas software applications, Mr. Dahl’s role at Compass SWD focuses on daily operations oversight and regulatory reporting and compliance.
Mr. Kreul is an executive with expertise in strategic planning, business development, and operations reengineering. He holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas and is the principal of RK Resources, LLC, providing consulting services in the energy and utility sectors. Previously, he was president of MoGas and Omega Pipeline, subsidiaries of CorEnergy Infrastructure Trust. He is a licensed professional engineer and a member of the Gas Processors Association.
