Mr. Aderhold’s role with the Compass SWD is to expand potential sales and contractual opportunities, initiate growth strategies, and operations management. Mr. Aderhold is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and the University of St. Thomas with a MBA specializing in Organizational Behavior and Management. Anthony holds the role as Vice President and Business Development Leader for Black Bear Resources and its affiliates since 2013. Mr. Aderhold has configured multiple start-ups within the oil and gas industry under this role. Mr. Aderhold was with Aegion Corporation, a small cap publicly traded company, specializing in infrastructure renewal in the energy, mining, water, wastewater and commercial/structural markets. While at Aegion he served as Director of Business Development, managing total sales in excess of $200MM in revenue. He has extensive experience in contract negotiations, customer relations management (CRM) software development and implementation, corporate strategy, acquisition and merger review, data analysis and trending, and general sales management.
Dan’s role within Compass SWD is General Management, sales, and oversite of strategic growth. Mr. Koller is a western North Dakota native and a graduate of the University of North Dakota with a B.A. in Aviation Administration and Management. Prior to the launch of Black Bear Resources, Mr. Koller was a Certified Financial Planner™ and Wealth Management Advisor for Northwestern Mutual, helping clients plan and implement quality financial strategies for nearly 15 years. With Mr. Koller’s leadership, Black Bear Resources has developed a sizable inventory of oil and gas leases and working interests on oil wells and continues to capitalize on the significant investment opportunities inside the booming Williston Basin.
Mr. Koch's attention to detail, experience in the region, and focus on financial analysis provides a strong addition to the Compass SWD’s management team. Mr. Koch has over 16 years of experience in financial services and has lead multiple start-ups in real estate, oil and gas, and structured finance. Recently, Mr. Koch has successfully navigated an oil and gas start up to profitability during a challenging era of volatility. Mr. Koch's involvement in the Bakken began over 4 years ago, where he left his financial services practice and launched an oil and gas investment partnership. Mr. Koch is a graduate of Emory University with a degree in finance and lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Jennifer, and 3 daughters.
Mr. Dahl's role with Compass SWD, LLC is to assist with daily operations oversight and regulatory reporting and compliance. Mr. Dahl is from Bismarck, North Dakota and a graduate of the University of North Dakota with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering. In May, 2016, Jordan interned for Oasis Petroleum (summer 2014) where he evaluated frac fluid rheology, and Black Bear Resources (summer 2015) where he aided the company in economic analysis and daily operations. He has experience with the IHS suite of oil and gas software applications including Enerdeq, PowerTools, and Petra, along with PHDWin Integrated Economics and Decline Curve Analysis software.
Mr. Kreul is an accomplished executive who offers broad strengths in strategic planning, P&L management, new business development, operations reengineering, M&A, and commercial relations. Kreul has a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas. He currently is the principal of RK Resources, LLC, providing business and technical consulting and advisory services to a broad range of clients, ranging from private equity investors to Fortune 500 corporations, with a focus on energy and utility industries. Before forming RK Resources, Mr. Kreul was president of CorEnergy Infrastructure Trust’s (NYSE: CORR) wholly owned subsidiaries MoGas Pipeline, LLC and Omega Pipeline Company, LLC, providing natural gas services to a variety of customers, from the Department of Defense to large publicly traded natural gas local distribution companies. Kreul is a professional engineer in five states (inactive) and has served on the board of directors of the Midwest Energy Association and the Western Propane Gas Association and is currently a member of the Gas Processors Association.
